The Business Partner & Solutions (BPS) Enterprise Solutions Team provide strategic technology solutions used across GIC business departments. This team comprises a dynamic team of Product Managers, Software Engineers as well as End User Experience Engineers
- We proactively engage business stakeholders across all levels to co-create the technology strategy and roadmap for corporate wide technology solutions
- We identify opportunities for technology and data to improve investment returns, increase employee productivity, and enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
- We work with the various teams across GIC Technology to deliver quality solutions - implementing or developing products for the business

We are looking for a User Experience Engineer to be part of our End User Experience solutions team. You will drive the implementation of strategy in designated End User Experience services to cater for business needs and improvements.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide technical guidance to the team that comprises of vendor resources in platform technologies including Windows, MacOS, Android and iOS, and ensure effective operation of the end user device environment (VDIs, laptops, desktops) and Microsoft 365
- Deliver platform and end user device related projects with timely reports and updates to senior management/stakeholders
- Responsible for the end user device environment lifecycle and roadmap, including the inception, through engineering design and procurement, to service and disposal
- Responsible for support and maintenance of assigned end user device components and environment
- Proactively develop, support and manage the end user device environment including creation of patching schedules and technology refresh
- Drive quality solutions and outcomes through a continuous improvement mind-set

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- With minimum 3 years’ relevant experience preferably in financial services or asset management industries
- Strong understanding of Windows 10/11, Windows Autopilot, MacOS, Android, iOS, Microsoft 365
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Professional qualification such as MCSE/Azure/Microsoft 365, ITIL, CITPM/PMP will be advantageous
- Desire to work in a diverse environment interacting with various teams and functions to support strategic goals
- Someone who is autonomous and can learn our environments, configurations, and systems quickly
