**Job Description**:
Areas of Responsibility & Accountability

Project delivery
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of all markets under the vertical and a sound knowledge of all major methodological disciplines, interacting with customers from clients of all types
- Manage custom research deliverables, delivering projects to client satisfaction, utilising strong knowledge of the relevant market
- Achievement of individual consulting billable utilisation targets
- Contribute to project delivery through the completion of project activity; delivers complex bids involving multiple deliverables and multiple analysts and leads or self delivers the final deliverable
- Managing projects to the overall plan through a distributed team of analysts and consultants to ensure that they have clear objectives and project plans, and that the team collaborates well to achieve team goals. Escalates issues to Line Manager as required.
- Project management skills - awareness of budget, timeline and programme delivery management.

Bid Management
- Work closely with the regional sales leads to develop new business.
- Bid management: manage the proposal and bid stages of all simple and complex solution bids. Scopes custom research within Market Pillar and upsells content syndication.
- Where necessary, manage third party sub-contractors, for example for primary research delivery

Business development
- Building a compelling consulting proposition that builds on Informa Tech’s reputation as a “industry thought leader”. Manage a product portfolio and will require them to retire and launch sales campaigns as the market evolves in their specialism.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders from across the Informa Tech brands to support the evolution and delivery of the marketing services proposition. Use network to complete projects with clients becoming repeat and regular.
- With the account management team, expand Informa Tech’s presence in key accounts by networking with research users and executives. Maintain a good working relationship with the Intel & Advice Sales account management team to proactively develop Omdia’s commercial position.
- Working with the Consulting & Custom Solutions team, and across the organisation as required, to implement the group and regional service provider growth strategy. From time to time, this will require the individual to lead special projects to address specific operational issues.

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience within a Management Consultancy firm, as a senior manager from the TMT industry.
- Possess a deep understanding of the relevant industry dynamics and trends. Demonstrable experience in leading significant & varied projects and ongoing client engagement / development
- Experience of working with senior internal management in budget and objective setting for custom research practice
- Ability to work with many stakeholders
- Experience of working closely with sales teams and training them in consulting sales
- Excellent and proven client management skills
- Experience in running multiple consulting projects at any given time
- Experience in running a large-scale (>£100,000) projects delivery
