About The Role

As a Technical Consultant at capSpire, you will use your knowledge and experience to contribute to the delivery of projects by applying strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure quality outcomes for the team's projects and activities. This will include requirement analysis, data collection, processing, cleansing, transforming and modelling.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop design patterns in conjunction with Solution Architecture that support the delivery of quality data and robust advanced analytical models in production.
• Integrating data into analytical platforms and managing structured and unstructured data flows.
• Develop, test, integrate, and deploy ETL components using AZURE Dev-Ops tools and scripting languages - as required.
• Work closely with analytics and data science teams to build and optimise 'big data' pipelines, warehouse/data lake and reports/visualisations.
• Data Lake Architecture & Design features decomposition.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in designing, implementing and configuring Azure resources.
• Ability to work with business and technology stakeholders with strong communication skills.
  
  

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a similar role in financial, energy and/or commodities trading
• Knowledge of physical and financial energy and commodity markets.
• Experience with Data Factory, Data Lake & Data Bricks.
• Microsoft Platform knowledge on Azure.
• Relevant experience in a consulting firm or similar client-facing role.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Delivery experience using mainstream capital and energy trading and risk management products such as OpenLink Endur, SolArc Right Angle, Murex, Allegro, Calypso, Sophis, Summit etc.
• Industry experience in financial, energy and/or commodities trading and risk management technologies, operations, and processes, as well as, delivering full lifecycle systems development/implementation in energy or financial systems environment.
