**The Position**:
As an Integration Engineer in IT Enterprise Data & Platforms (IT EDP), you will be in a global team of Integration Engineering Chapter, within the Data & Application Integration team - designing, architecting, and developing integration solution to ensure availability of information across different systems, allowing interoperability of data.

We use integration tools like Axway API Management, AWS Services (Event Bridge, Kinesis, SNS, SQS etc), Informatica Cloud, SAP Cloud Platform Integration and SAP Process Orchestration to deliver data across the organization. We are looking for an Integration Engineer with expertise on API and AWS Services.

**Tasks & responsibilities**:

- Active participation in integration engineer community to assess development standards, best fit usage, define best practice, integration governance & strategy
- Design the integration solutions - interfaces or API with an API First mindset, ensuring reusability and scalability.
- Leads architecture for the integrations by planning & coordinating implementation from the design to the go-live
- Provides technical leadership to research and recommends new integration technologies to support Boehringer Ingelheim's strategy

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in integration architecture, development, designing and implementing solutions.
- Experience in Axway API Management Platform or AWS Services (Kinesis, SNS, SQS, Lambda, etc) is a Must.
- Experience with agile based delivery model
- Experience working in a virtual, international, and multicultural environment.
- Excellent problem solving and teamwork, good communication and customer-oriented skills, and ability to work under pressure.
