Sourcing Lead (Electronics Component)

This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

**Who We Are**:
**_ Responsibilities: _**
- collaborating with suppliers, ensuring component quality, and managing the entire lifecycle of components.
- Work with R&D and Commodity in Component Selection: search and select electronic components based on design requirement, ensuring compatibility reliability and AOS. May require to develop and implement testing protocols to validate the performance and quality of selected components if customized.
- Work closely with suppliers to assess their capabilities and address any issues related to component quality or availability.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of components, from initial selection to end-of-life, ensuring continuity of supply and addressing obsolescence issues.
- Implement and enforce quality standards for components, conducting regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance.
- Maintain detailed records of component specifications, test results, and supplier communications. Keep documentation up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve component-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address challenges in a timely manner.
- Work towards optimizing component costs without compromising quality, identifying cost-effective alternatives where possible
- Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution
- Provides guidance and mentoring to less
- experienced staff members.

**_ Education and Experience Required: _**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, or Electronics Engineering,
- Typically 4-6 years experience.

**_ Knowledge and Skills: _**
- Using appropriate engineering tools to select and resolve components issues.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Understanding of electronics schematics, good understanding of Jedec Standards or equivalent. and able to review technical datasheets
- lead and collaborate wells. Team player with positive attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Good understanding or manufacturing processes is preferred
