Senior Data Center (Critical Systems) Project Engineer
**Job Description Summary**
This role will oversee comprehensive event monitoring for all Data Center infrastructure to ensure optimal functionality across all systems, including UPS, power distribution, temperature regulation, humidity control, and water detection.
**About the Role**:
- Ensure the seamless operation of supporting infrastructure systems, including Environment Monitoring Systems (EMS), Access Control Systems, and Electronic Visitation Management Systems.
- Maintain and update all Data Center documentation, including detailed reports and compliance records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing prompt and effective support to customers.
- Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), method of procedures (MOPs), and emergency response procedures (ERPs) for critical environments, alongside managing the formal change control process.
- Coordinate maintenance activities and system shutdowns, engaging with vendors for electrical and mechanical systems as necessary.
**About You**:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience managing 24/7 Data Center operations.
- In-depth technical knowledge of Data Center infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical systems, fire detection and protection systems, building management systems, equipment maintenance, space planning, and the construction of critical facilities.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a strong emphasis on people management.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also excelling independently.
