Asst Manager, Warehouse Operations

**Job Summary**:
Overseeing the efficient and effective management of warehouse operations. This individual will lead a team, optimize processes, and ensure the smooth flow of goods in and out of the warehouse.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Team Management**:

- Recruit, hire, and train new warehouse employees.
- Provide ongoing coaching, counseling, and performance management.
- Create and enforce policies and procedures to maintain a productive and motivated team.
- **Strategic Planning**:

- Contribute to creating and recommending strategic plans to achieve operational objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align warehouse operations with overall business goals.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Forecast inventory requirements and prepare annual budgets.
- Monitor materials stock levels, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions.
- Develop processes for receiving, handling, and shipping products efficiently.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Continuously identify areas for improvement within warehouse operations.
- Design and implement efficient movement and storage systems.
- Optimize warehouse layout, considering product flow and equipment placement.
- **Quality and Safety**:

- Establish and enforce safety standards and procedures.
- Coordinate security measures to protect warehouse property.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and maintain a healthy work environment.
- **Problem Solving and Trend Analysis**:

- Resolve operational problems promptly.
- Identify trends and proactively address issues.
- **Education and Training**:

- Participate in ongoing education to stay updated on industry best practices.
- Keep job knowledge current and share insights with the team.
