Singapore US Administration for Children and Families Full time

**Duties**:

- The incumbent provides strategic oversight and coaching to improve the quality and efficiency of care and releases at assigned care provider programs sites for unaccompanied children.
- The incumbent will travel to visit assigned programs in-person, to provide monitoring, review case files, and support the effective oversight of care provider programs
- The incumbent reviews and analyzes data such as incidents, lengths of care, and releases to identify improvement opportunities for programs.
- The incumbent will review critical information from the provider about children, their prospective sponsors to ensure that we are compliant with our policies and procedures.
- The incumbent resolves regular program issues that include coordinating with the Department of Homeland Security, local officials and other stakeholders to resolve challenges.
- The incumbent effectively communicates, both verbally and in writing, information that is clear, concise and accurate.

**Qualifications**:
**Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Basic AND Specialized Experience requirements as noted below.**

**Basic Requirement**:You must meet one of the items listed below (A, B, or C):

- A. Possess a degree in behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position. (Must provide transcripts)
- B. Possess a combination of education and experience - that provided you with the knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. (Must provide transcript)
- C. Possess four years of appropriate experience that demonstrates acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
- **Specialized Experience**:
**GS-12**: You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the **GS-11** level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing (3) of the (4) duties listed below:

- Providing program oversight and assessment of program compliance by following child welfare practices such as standards for health care services, mental health services, child and adolescent development, and/or best practices for child abuse and neglect prevention.
- Assisting with overseeing the establishment and/or operation of shelters and/or care providers responsible for housing and care of children.
- Analyzing data to recognize trends and evaluate program performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Communicating orally and in writing to conduct interviews/negotiate issues, delivering presentations, and preparing reports
