**Allianz Apprenticeship Programme 2025 Intake**

Allianz Apprenticeship programme is a 12-month programme. The objective of this programme is to attract, develop, and retain talented individuals who will become future leaders in the company, while also fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment.

Highlights of the programme:

- 12-month programme with the opportunity to be considered for a permanent role at Allianz upon successful completion of the programme
- Rotations, a minimum of 2 rotations to sub-functions within the Business function

**What you do**
- Conduct research such as regional productivity benchmarking: Assist in gathering and analyzing data from market to support business development and project needs.
- Data analysis: Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify consumer trend, market opportunities, and create actionable recommendations.
- Support in regional training and marketing/ campaign program including driving cross-sell/ up-sell initiatives
- Power BI reporting
- Conduct best practice sharing sessions and organising events such as functional workshops, partner visits.

**What you bring**
- Recent (up to two years from graduation) diploma graduate from a Polytechnic in Singapore in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge or work experience in banking on financial products and services would be an advantage
- Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges, and flexibility to work on various tasks as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- **Business Functions - Property and Casualty Actuarial**_

**What you do**

You will be responsible for Corporate Actuarial topics in the Asia Pacific Property & Casualty ("PC") business with focus on reserving, technical reporting (IFRS17), planning and controlling, reinsurance topics and Lines of Business ("LOB") reporting in the region. The role also encompasses the improvement of Operating Entities ("OE") actuarial processes and actuarial maturity level.

The tasks and projects expected for the apprenticeship are:

- Data preparation and filling up templates for the Independent Reserves Review
- Setting up quarterly reserve Key Performance Indices ("KPIs") tracking and LOB reporting performance analysis including but not limited to Gross Written Premium, Combined Ratio ("CoR"), Loss Ratio ("LR") and Expenses Ratio ("ER") movement via Power BI or other software.
- Collect and check information such as attritional, large and catastrophe claims split, earned exposure and number of claims by LOB to enhance the Loss Ratio Walk for the region
- Improve reinsurance process in particular on Catastrophe data submission ("ASPIRE") timeliness and accuracy. Improve AZAP reinsurance pricing tools.
- Support any other projects including but not limited to Integration of any newly acquired company to meet Group's requirements.
- Support Business-As-Usual ("BAU") activities including but not limited to quarterly actuarial closing activities, analysis and commentaries and product approval.

**What you bring**
- Recent Diploma graduate from the Polytechnic in Singapore (less than two years after graduation) in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong mathematical proficiency, with solid understanding of probability, statistics, and financial mathematics. Familiarity with actuarial principles and methodologies would be an advantage
- Strong technical, analytical & problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Modeling and Forecasting with actuarial models, and basic regulatory insurance knowledge would be desirable.

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges, and flexibility to work on various tasks as required

**What you do**

**Working closely with all teams across Ops and IT, drafting of strategy slides, supporting Regional Ops IT Strategy Lead**

Key deliverables include:
**In supporting Planning and Strategic Dialogue, the incumbent will help drafting / maintaining of strategy slides.**

**Work with OEs to ensure timely data compilation for IT Governance, support them in addressing their queries with the help of necessary SME teams (in Group and Region), drive them to execute on action plans to improve the KPIs**
