**Job Overview**

This role is responsible for driving business growth within the biodiesel sector, specifically focusing on the Southeast Asia market. The Biofuels Trader will be tasked with expanding and managing a profitable book of business, leveraging market insights and an established network to develop strong client relationships.

**Key Responsibilities / Tasks**
- Responsible for/In charge of a self-sourced portfolio, also broadening activities across a range of existing customers.
- Liaising with clients on new inquiries and providing an excellent quality of service to both existing and prospective customers.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis and stay abreast of industry trends to identify new business opportunities and foster strong client relationships, driving increased sales of biodiesel and feedstocks.
- Reporting PnL figures for the trading team.Manage and take full accountability for personal profit and loss (PnL), while ensuring prudent risk management and minimizing exposure.
- Reports into Company Chairman.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5-8 years of hands-on experience in the biofuels industry, with expertise in biodiesel, fatty matter, used cooking oil (UCO), and palm oil derivatives (POME, PFAD, PME).
- Proven success in generating revenue and developing a robust book of business within the biofuel sector.
- Proven ability to business develop both for procurement and sales.Strong understanding of biofuel operations, including the supply chain, trade logistics, and market dynamics.
- A demonstrated track record of identifying growth opportunities and closing high-value deals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong results-oriented mindset.
