Regional Data Specialist

Responsible for collecting, organizing, and analysing data to support business decisions. The Data Specialist will work closely with various departments regionally to ensure data integrity and accuracy, as well as assist in developing reporting tools and dashboards.
**Job Functions**
- Assist in developing data-driven solutions in the region to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support business users for processes improvement with data scientific approach.
- Analyze user requirements and execute actions to improve business operations.
- Collaborate with team members for the purpose of collecting data and executing the company’s mission
- Train business users to promote data utilization in the region.
**Knowledge and Skills**
- 3 years increasingly responsible professional experience in supporting/managing complex data utilization in Data scientific field.
- Possess a Diploma or above
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
- Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail with a problem-solving skill
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritized work
- Customer centric mindset
- Self-motivated team player skills
- Experience of Power BI report design
- Experience of API with data lake such as MS Azure
- Experience of business process improvement with data scientific approach
- Experience in data governance and data security.
- Understanding of ERP data in sales activities (e.g SAP S/4 HANA SD, MM, FICO, CS)
- Understanding of CRM data (e.g SAP C/4 HANA)
- Project management experiences and knowledge
- Business level Japanese proficiency to communicate with BI development team in Japan.
