Accounts Specialist

This role is focused on Franchise Billing and Accounts Receivable, which entails daily validation, analysis, and reconciliation of billing data, to ensure accuracy and efficiency. In addition, prompt follow-up and monitoring of franchisees’ open invoices for payment collection per contractual terms.
A strong ability to handle a large volume of transaction data with good Excel and system skills is a must.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Daily billing data validation activity and generation of system invoicing.
- Follow up on billing discrepancies, research, reconcile and close out open items. Manage billing inquiries from franchisees including follow-up of issues with stakeholders.
- Handle reimbursable cost charge-back and other miscellaneous billings to franchisees and ensure compliance with franchise agreements.
- Proactively follow up with franchisees of all open invoices for payment to ensure compliance with payment terms, promptly resolve &/or escalate to the management of delinquent receivables.
- Assist in monthly closing activities.
- Active participation in continuous process improvement and system upgrade testing.
- Provide audit support & other ad-hoc assignments & projects as and when required.
**DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION & COMPETENCIES**
- Diploma in accounting or higher qualification.
- Minimum 3 years AR/Billing or related experience.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience in enterprise accounting systems.
- Detail-oriented, able to proactively identify and resolve issues, follow through, and work under limited supervision.
