**Job Summary**:
This position, based in Singapore, will actively implement, promote, and enforce the Zimmer Biomet Corporate Compliance Program (CCP) in APAC.

The position is responsible for facilitating and monitoring the Company’s compliance with local and international anti-corruption and fair trade laws, regulations and its own related policies, in particular, those governing appropriate interactions and arrangements with healthcare professionals.

He/she will work closely with the APAC Compliance office to draft and launch clear, concise compliance policies and guidance, train employees and business partners, interpret complex legislation, provide guidance to senior management on compliance issues affecting the healthcare industry, and assist with investigations of alleged breaches of laws, regulations and policies and perform corrective actions.

He/she will work with other departments to assess and improve internal controls and business processes to enable the company to achieve its business goals and objectives in a compliant manner. He/she will also serve as a key liaison with the global Compliance office on other aspects of the CCP, including training, investigations, audits and monitoring.

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Advisor**:

- Provide compliance advice and guidance to relevant APAC markets in SE Asia and Korea.
- Serve as the point person for all compliance-related queries involving the SE Asia and Korea business and work closely with the regional and global compliance teams.

**Training**:

- Serve as the APAC liaison to global Compliance training team.

**Policies**:

- Work with the regional Compliance office to develop and implement regional and local compliance policies and procedures

**Grants Office**:

- In collaboration with other relevant functions, including Medical Education, provide Compliance advice and direction to the APAC Grants Review Committee.

**Regional Projects**:

- Assist regional Compliance office other regional projects, such as managing APAC Compliance Committee meetings, liaise with global Compliance working groups on behalf of APAC, and work with Compliance Monitoring, Investigations and Audit functions.

**Expected Areas of Competence**:

- Ability and skills to have a broad understanding of compliance issues in the APAC market
- Familiarity with laws affecting U.S. and UK-based multi-national corporations (e.g., U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and UK Bribery Act)
- Organized, detail oriented, with a high degree of professionalism. Exhibits high degree of ethics and integrity.
- Highly motivated, self-starter willing to meet strict deadlines and time constraints; must possess a positive, can-do attitude and show enthusiasm
- Strong leadership presence and ability to manage people and projects effectively
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently, multi task and be part of a team, able to build relationships across and outside the organization
- Work collaboratively with peers and leverages skills and knowledge within the global Legal and Compliance teams
- Communicate effectively to a diverse audience at multiple levels within the Company in a clear and succinct manner through various formats, i.e., presentations, written proposals, reports, correspondence, leading meetings, face-to-face dialogue, etc

**Education/Experience Requirements**:
Degree with at least 6 years experience in a legal, compliance or analytical role or at least 10 year of directly relevant work experience; experience working with US companies is preferred.
