**About the Role**

M1’s Design team is looking for a hands-on design practitioner who will help build the creative ownership around M1’s user interfaces, websites, apps, campaign pages, brand’s visual language, and voice / tone.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Head of CX/UX & Design to shape the Design culture within the organisation - always put the needs of our customers as the core and allowing stakeholders to appreciate how design can bring immediate value to the business.

We are looking for a design lead who is passionate about creativity and practicality - layered with a human touch.

As the lead for the Design Team for M1, you will proudly own the look and feel of M1’s experiences.

As a Design Lead in the Digital Office - CX / UX & Design,
- You will be tasked to manage a team of designers to ensure the day-to-day work in the form of UX recommendations and visual design output are of top quality and on par with industry standards
- You will be required to get comfortable at navigating through ambiguity with a flair in stakeholder management to uncover new requirements and opportunities for the design team
- You will be an active voice for the design team during daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions to recommend the right approach/ potential solution / timeline
- You will be able to lead and be hands-on during user research process that span across competitive study, appropriate research methods, identify trends and make sense of data, and to conduct user interviews
- You will be required to craft empathy maps, experience maps, user-flows, design guidelines, component libraries, and more
- You will play a pivotal role in defining how M1 Design System should be and how it should scale / maintained over time so that designers can benefit from reusability
- From time to time, you will be required to create compelling UX and visual concepts for new opportunities that can bring new value to the business
- As the team grows, you will also be required to assess performance and provide career guidance for designers in your line of report
- This position will require you to be on-site at M1 office located in the West of Singapore

**Job Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following:

- A bachelor’s degree in Arts, Communication Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology OR equivalent practical experience
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in designing user interfaces for products, APPs, websites, landing pages, and digital kiosks with a compelling online portfolio to showcase good UX thinking and creative excellence
- You have spent at least a good 2 to 3 years managing a team of designers and help them flourish as a creative
- Meticulous and pay attention to details down to the last pixel
- Ability to see the big picture, yet focus on the details to help drive positive outcomes
- Excellence in organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills.
- A strong self-starter who is curious, resourceful, adaptable, and willing to learn.
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Good understanding of Agile and Scrum process
- Full proficiency in graphical tools and associated workflows (eg. Figma, Adobe CC, Confluence, Jira, Zeplin, Principle
- Good understanding of Marketing, Advertising, and Technology
