**Part-Time Cafe / Kitchen Assistant ($8-10/hr)**

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily operations of the counter
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards
- Cashiering and transactional duties, ensure guests are charged correctly
- Ensure Till float and all sales figures are tallied, i.e cash, NETS, etc
- Ensure proper cleanliness and outlook of the store
- Calibrate coffee machine and ensure sufficient stock for beans and milk
- Ensure all mis en place is ready for opening
- Ensure service standards are maintained
- Ensure sufficient packing boxes are folded for the day's service
- Responsible for the packaging of all sales items.
- Check stock levels and order accordingly
- Make and serve drinks according to SOP and employee handbook
- Assist in all ad-hoc tasks set forth by management
- Assist in the kitchen preparation
- Responsible for Opening and or Closing the store.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Previous working experience as Barista/Kitchen and POS experience preferred, but training will be provided
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Great attention to detail and ownership
- Great interpersonal and leadership skills
- Must possess a positive and friendly attitude and have the ability to work with a variety of people, including colleagues and customers
