We are looking for a high calibre, driven, meticulous and strong independent individual to join us.
**Key Responsibilities and Expectations**
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory obligations including licensing requirements and AML/CFT
- Develop and maintain effective compliance framework and policies
- Maintain effective controls, policies, and procedures to identify, document, and manage all material risks
- Lead ongoing compliance and provide guidance on day-to-day operations within the compliance framework, including new business initiatives, client onboarding, products and projects, outsourcing arrangements, third-party agreements, business continuity and cybersecurity
- Point of contact for regulators, collaborate with regulators on inquiries, notifications, and inspections
- Compile reports and regulatory filings for submission to regulators
- Monitor and evaluate new emerging regulations from MAS and other relevant authorities
- Perform risk assessments in accordance with changing landscape and propose improvements
- Drive initiatives to strengthen controls, policies and procedures, and regulatory measures
- Enhance AML/CFT policies and procedures, perform analysis and remediation
- Review client accounts, provide alerts for potential suspicious transactions
- Conduct operational reviews, investigate issues, and recommend enhancements
- Coordinate and complete internal and external audits, including commenting on and closing audit findings and recommendations.
- Conduct compliance training workshops for employees
- Adhoc responsibilities as assigned by the Management
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience as Compliance Officer in a Licence Fund Management Company
- Extensive working experience with MAS is a plus
- Strong knowledge of MAS’ regulatory regime
- Confident with excellent organisational and communication skills for effective engagement with senior stakeholders and regulators
- Dynamic, with ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment
- Singapore citizens preferred
