Our company is a new start up in Singapore, providing consultancy in the data analytics industry looking to serve other businesses, finance sectors, science, and governmental sectors. We are now in an exciting start up phase and hence, seeking for an experienced Director to join our business to explore and execute potential business opportunities in the South East Asian region.

This person will be spearheading referral networks through partnering with business development professionals, existing clients and related outside advisors to qualify prospective clients for the business. As a key person in the company, you will work directly with the Managing Director to oversee and participate in all aspects of potential infrastructural projects, including performing analytical tasks and providing corporate advisory services such as introducing the company to private sophisticated investors who are keen to support any campaigns and projects.

**You primary responsibilities include**:

- Driving the development of investment ideas and/or products - from idea generation through conceptual design (data collection analysis, modelling), and final recommendations
- Conducting analyses, prepare materials and direct Managing Director on investment and financial issues
- Full accountability for the investment planning and provides highest level of advice and recommendations to the Managing Director
- Assist the Managing Director with investment objectives, providing risk assessment, asset allocation structures and guidelines, as well as supporting the broader company strategic plan and growth initiatives
- Identify opportunities in previously unexplored research jurisdiction and evaluating deals coming through the pipeline if extra support is needed
- Building brand awareness, relay company messages and advocating the business as a leading solution provider in the industry

**An ideal applicant will have**:

- Diploma or equivalent certification in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering. Applicants who holds a professional certificate from an accredited association in Business Administration will have added advantage
- Min. 15 years in the investment industry with a strong pool of networks in the Asian market.
- Min. 15 years hands-on experience in project management and development of integrated computerised systems
- Min. 10 years experience in management, training and staff progression planning
- Good business acumen with strong risk assessing experience
- Expert in business mandarin language, spoken and written
- Strong ability to persuade, consult and provide expert corporate advisory to investors and the company
- Excellent negotiation, problem solving skills and the ability to perform under a highly pressured environment
