The Senior Client Delivery Manager plays a pivotal role in orchestrating the successful delivery of client projects. You will own client programmes end-to-end, ensuring projects are delivered to scope, on time, and with exceptional quality, while building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Commercial and Legal teams, acting as the central point of accountability for delivery success.
**Duties**
- Lead complex Vault implementation programmes for mission-critical banking and payments systems.
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, ensuring alignment and satisfaction throughout the Vault implementation programme.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with key clients and stakeholders, acting as the deputy for the Regional Delivery Director and serving as a primary escalation point to ensure successful program execution.
- Take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of Vault implementations, including scope, planning, and risk management. Follow and improve upon the prescribed delivery methodology in collaboration with the team.
- Drive governance: maintain project status, financials, reporting, and steering committee updates for the Vault implementation.
- Anticipate and resolve delivery challenges, escalating where necessary to protect Vault implementation programme outcomes.
- Demonstrate strong contractual awareness by ensuring commercial agreements are clearly defined, agreed upon, and delivered in line with all obligations.
- Partner with Commercial, Product, and Engineering teams on opportunity scoping, change requests, and continuous improvement of delivery practices.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and performance.
- Conduct retrospectives and continuous learning to improve delivery standards.
**Requirements**:
**Essential**
- Core Banking Transformation experience.
- Strong commercial and legal acumen, with the ability to contribute to and interpret contractual commitments.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale technology implementation programmes for banking clients.
- Proven expertise in managing the delivery of multiple mission-critical systems, including complex data migration and architectural changes, while mentoring junior team members.
- Proven ability to plan and manage complex core banking change programs, with a deep understanding of key interdependencies.
- Demonstrable experience in building strong client relationships and managing stakeholders, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor and influence at the executive level.
- Demonstrable ability to balance commercial objectives, delivery quality, and client satisfaction with a solid understanding of accounting principles for fixed-priced and T&M contracts, including revenue recognition.
- Skilled in financial management, risk management, and change control for large-scale programmes.
- Skilled in collaborative problem-solving and conflict resolution, with a focus on understanding diverse perspectives.
- Experience across different delivery frameworks, including agile and hybrid models.
- Confident communicator with excellent facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead distributed teams across multiple geographies and client locations.
