Responsibilities:

- Enforces company rules and regulation and requirements of the Port Facility Security Plan
- Reviews company procedures and risk assessment. Ensures company procedures, risk assessments and instructions are followed and updated when necessary
- Plans, organizes and directs investigations into security-related cases
- Supervises a team of investigation officers to ensure case files are properly compiled and filed
- Puts up and compile comprehensive investigation reports
- Guides and supports investigation officers by being present on site to gather facts, collect evidence and conduct interviews of those involved in the case
- Briefs and discusses with Department Head and other stakeholders on the case for the initial investigation steps to take including the need to engage external personnel and government agencies
- Notifies management of the involvement of external agencies
- Ensures the maintenance of case file registry and status of cases investigated, including overseeing that case files are updated, submitted and closed promptly according to departmental KPIs
- Maintains proper physical and digital filing of the investigation case files in secured metal cabinets or authorised electronic storage
- Monitors closely the crime trend, crime patterns and collate all security-related information for dissemination to create awareness and prevention occurrence
- Prepares and consolidates monthly report on cases, highlighting case status and action plans for crime prevention
- Liaises with stakeholders such as other departments, clients, contractors, vendors, government agencies, etc, on security matters and gather inputs for recommendation of strategies to prevent occurrence/recurrences of cases Performs any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Department Head

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree in any field
- Possess valid PLRD Private Investigator License
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a managerial capacity in investigations, with focus on commercial crime will be an advantage. Ex-Police Officers are preferred
- Good interview and report writing skills
- Possess incident management (command & control) skills
- Self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Able to maintain confidentiality and work independently
- Physically fit to perform checks and inspection on personnel, documents, cargo, surveillance materials and mount operations Possess good leadership qualities, managerial, decision-making and inter-personal skills
