**Responsibilities**:

- Enforces company rules and regulation and requirements of the Port Facility Security Plan
- Drafts and maintains company procedures and risk assessment. Ensure company procedures, risk assessments and instructions are followed and updated when necessary
- Investigates into security-related cases.
- Registers the case in the investigation case file database for case reference number and open an investigation case file
- Puts up investigation report
- Ensures investigation case files are properly compiled and filed
- Updates and maintains investigation case files and database
- Engages stakeholders for inputs in the recommendation of strategies to prevent occurrence/recurrences of cases
- Presents on site to gather facts, collect evidence and conduct interviews of those involved in the case
- Briefs and discusses with Security Manager on the case for the initial investigation steps to take including the need to engage external personnel and government agencies
- Notifies management of the involvement of external agencies
- Submits case file to Security Manager within 6 days
- Completes investigations and investigation report to be enclosed in the investigation case file within one month. Discusses with Security Manager if case cannot be completed within 1 month
- Maintains proper physical and digital filing of the investigation case files in secured metal cabinets or authorised electronic storage
- Updates Security Manager on case status and database weekly
- Prepares monthly report on cases, highlighting case status and action plans for crime prevention. Liaise with stakeholders such as other departments, clients, contractors, vendors, government agencies, etc, on security matters Works on any other assignments as assigned by Security Manager

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or NITEC / Higher NITEC in any field
- Possess valid PLRD Private Investigator License
- At least 1-4 years of relevant working experience performing investigations work. Ex-Police Officers are preferred
- Good interview and report writing skills
- Self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision Physically fit to perform checks and inspection on personnel, documents, cargo, surveillance materials and mount operations
