We are seeking an experienced qualified actuary for experience analysis and basis development work for Life and Health business in SEA.

Located in Singapore and reporting to the Head of in-force management.

**Your Job**:

- Be familiar with internal Munich Re guidelines and risk appetite.
- Build a strong collaborative relationship with the Pricing Actuaries and Client Managers ensuring alignment of key priorities for basis development work.
- Work on research projects such as derivation of incidence rates for Critical Illness, Long Term Care products.
- Delivering analysis of client experience and maintain pool of experience analysis results for the purposes of quotes, basis development work & valuation assumption setting
- Maintaining and developing the experience analysis tools
- Developing systems and methods to ensure efficient processes and maximum insight is gained
- Engaging with stakeholders to maximise the value of the in force portfolio
- Stay current with recent actuarial and economic publications; identifying when new methodologies could benefit our pricing estimates
- Ad-hoc projects (e.g. model conversions, client database maintenance etc).

**Your Profile**

To perform this function, you should be a qualified actuary:

- with 5-10 years of experience in life insurance / reinsurance
- with a thorough understanding of life insurance principles and of the products in the region
- with technical computing skills (including knowledge of SQL-based intake systems and databases)
- with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- with excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) in English.
