**Head, Corporate Communications**

The Head of Corporate Communications will lead the Corporate Communications Department and oversee all communications matters in the organisation. He/ She will develop and implement internal and external communication strategies for the organisation to ensure that unified, consistent, and positive messages define and promote the corporate identity and mission.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Lead the Corporate Communication department, and collaborate with executive leadership to conceptualise and implement corporate communications and marketing strategies to protect and enhance corporate reputation
- Drive proactive media relations, including organising of press briefings, interviews for senior management, and management of press materials
- Act as the corporate spokesperson, maintain positive professional media relationships, handle media enquiries, and monitor public and media opinion on the Company
- Monitor mainstream and social media sentiments to understand stakeholders' perspectives and refine key messages
- Assist with the preparation and development of corporate/ investor materials such as annual reports, corporate website and collaterals
- Assist executive leadership in the preparation of speeches, corporate messages, and presentation materials
- Drive Company’s branding initiatives, including overseeing branding on various platforms such as Corporate website, LinkedIn, publicity materials etc.
- Spearhead the development of an employer branding strategy and execution plan based on employer value propositions
- Community affairs/ Corporate Social Responsibility
- Any other duties as assigned

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- Degree in Journalism, Communication, Public Relations, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of solid corporate communication and media relation experience, corporate branding, as well as employer branding, preferably from a public-listed company

**Preferred Competencies and Skills**
- Demonstrate strong media relationships and ability to craft strong media pitches
- Proven experience in issues and crisis communications
- Good communication skills and professional working attitude, with the ability to develop and repurpose content for different audiences and channels
- Excellent interpersonal skills in managing different stakeholders with diverse opinions and backgrounds
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritisation
- Excellent communication, writing and editing skills
- Multi-tasking under tight schedule, good at problem-solving and attentive to details.
