**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**The main responsibilities of the Security Control Room Supervisor are the delivery of Control Room operations including incident management; CCTV & alarm monitoring and management across multi APEC locations; and the leadership, training and welfare management of the team.**

**Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- **Monitor and manage incident alert and response platforms 24/7 in order to Identify, establish, assess and escalate according to established SOPs;**:

- **Report incidents throughout the APEC region as per SOPs;**:

- **Collate and report on security related intelligence to safeguard all staff members that are traveling or based in the APEC region;**:

- **Supervising emergency procedures across the APEC region including local emergency procedures;**:

- **Supervising and coordinating the out of hours’ security team operations across the APEC region.
**Management Correspondence**
- Work closely with the FOH Security Officers, Security Team Supervisor, UK Security Manager and the APEC Security Account Manager to manage client requirements.
- Mentor and train the team of APEC Controllers; Ensure that the assignment instructions are adhered to during and out of hours.
- Build and maintain working relationships with various lines of business coordinators across the APEC region and our Global counterparts.
- Daily management and administration of security team staff during and out of hours.
- Lead, manage and motivate security team staff including goal setting, performance reviews, appraisals, performance management, coaching, training & development planning.
- Support Company vision, culture and core values through leadership, mentoring and coaching.
- Supervising and coordinating the out of hours’ security team operations across the APEC region.

**Security Management**
- Maintain and enhance the standard of the Security Team through adherence to the training and personnel development routine.
- Provide detailed, accurate and timely information to TWDC Security leadership during incident management.
- Ensure site procedures are managed, audited & scrutinised and innovations are introduced.
- Coordinate the management of physical security, loss prevention and fire prevention in accordance with client and customer expectations, policy and procedures.

**Social Media Management**
- Identify and explore social media platforms for potentially harmful news or postings.
- Keep abreast of social media tools and the latest trends.

**Operations Management**
- Act as a key contact for all operational Security and Health & Safety related matters.
- Monitor and manage incident alert and response platforms 24/7 in order to Identify, establish, assess and escalate according to established SOPs.

- Ensure all staff work in safe conditions, acting upon all reports of accidents and faults and that staff carry out their duties in accordance with procedures and policies.

**Organisational Change**
- Update processes to reflect current and future business needs in coordination with the Security Manager.
- Respond to changes in the business environment including legislation, technology and trends.

**Qualifications and Key Competencies You Should Possess**
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline
- Possess PLRD Security Officer License
- First Aid Certified
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an excellent command of the English language both verbally and in writing.
- Experience in operational security management & decision making.
- The ability to work effectively in a highly demanding and at times, stressful environment;
- A flexible approach and be comfortable responding quickly to developing security incidents;
- A methodical, structured approach to incident escalation, management, resolution and reporting;
- Ability to work under own initiative, making decisions to benefit SRS and client;
- Competent on Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint;
- Deliver excellent customer service.
- Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure;
- Have an ability to deliver clear verbal and written reports where necessary;
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation;
- Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability;
- Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team;
- Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from the public;
