KKR’s Client Solutions team seeks to diversify KKR’s client base to include new investors across all regions and institution types, including a growing focus on individual, private wealth investors.
KKR first established its presence in Asia Pacific in 2005. KKR has approximately 300 executives working across business functions and asset classes with offices located in Beijing, Gurugram, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo. The person who joins in this role is joining a Private Equity team but also a team of 2,500 people across the firm and we all work together to support each other in delivering the best of KKR to our companies and clients.
**POSITION OVERVIEW**
The Private Equity team are looking to hire an intern between January - May 2025 to be based in Singapore. The intern will be involved in all aspects of the investment process across Private Equity investments including: sourcing and evaluating potential investments; performing due diligence; monitoring and implementing improvements at portfolio companies. The intern will interact closely with other KKR businesses such as the KKR Client Solutions team, KKR Capstone and KKR Capital Markets.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Examine industry trends and identify investment themes.
- Originate deal opportunities in line with the investment themes
- Lead, in-depth due diligence and business and financial modeling analyses on new investment opportunities and manage all aspects of the deal execution process.
- Participate and lead the management of portfolio companies, actively support company operating and financial initiatives, and oversee value-creation initiatives.
**CRITICAL COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS**
- Prior experience analyzing and structuring investments using sophisticated research, analytical, quantitative and financial modeling/valuation skills is required. S/he will thrive in a merit-based environment functioning as a member of a highly collaborative, tight-knit team
- S/he is expected to be able to operate independently
- Past internship experience in private equity or investment banking will be advantageous
