As a **Wholesale/OTA Manager **, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by managing relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners, ensuring competitive pricing, and optimizing distribution channels. You will be responsible for key operational areas, including inventory management, revenue optimization, and customer support, while maintaining compliance with industry standards and documentation requirements.
**The day-to-day activities**:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and key business partners to negotiate favorable terms and ensure reliable service delivery.
- Oversee and manage inventory to ensure optimal availability across platforms, aligning with sales forecasts and market demands.
- Analyze market trends to set competitive pricing strategies, ensuring profitability while staying aligned with market conditions.
- Ensure all transactions and partnerships are compliant with legal, regulatory, and company standards, maintaining proper documentation for audits and reviews.
- Lead the sales strategy for wholesale and OTA distribution, managing various sales channels to drive bookings and revenue.
- Utilize and manage GDS and travel booking platforms effectively, ensuring systems are optimized for seamless operations.
- Monitor and manage revenue, adjusting pricing and offerings based on demand trends and revenue forecasts to maximize profitability.
- Ensure integration of cutting-edge technology and systems to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Provide high-level customer service, addressing and resolving travel issues, booking challenges, and customer complaints swiftly and professionally.
**The must haves**:
- 5-10 years of proven experience in the Wholesale/OTA business, with a deep understanding of market trends and operational dynamics.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin, with strong negotiation and communication skills.
- A positive and proactive, customer-service-oriented mindset, capable of addressing customer concerns efficiently.
- Familiarity with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and travel booking platforms, with the ability to analyze pricing and demand trends.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve travel-related issues or booking challenges quickly.
- Availability to travel for industry fairs, partner meetings, and other business engagements as required.
