We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Credit Advisor.**

**Principal Responsibilities**

Credit Advisory jobholders are responsible for identifying, structuring, negotiating and underwriting new credit opportunities and/or managing existing portfolios. They develop appropriate recommendations for credit approval, review credit limits and monitor collateral.

The key tasks for this category will include some or all of the following:

- Daily risk monitoring
- Renewals
- Underwriting/documentation
- Identifying lending opportunities
- Daily credit support for Relationship Management
- Client advisory services

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- Have proven sales skills, understands what drives new business, and how to interact with clients and prospective clients to develop high quality lending opportunities
- The following skills are required at the highest levels of excellence. Credit analytics, interpersonal skills, portfolio management and risk management
- Completion of formal credit training strongly preferred
- High quality collaboration skills in a team oriented environment
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage relationship manager and client expectations
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional presentation skills
- University degree
