**Process Engineer ( 2 years contract)**

Work with PhD and researchers in company/NTU/NUS. Be part of R&D member in Singapore major R&D activities related to energy and environment.

**Education and Knowledge Requirement(s)**:

- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related courses
- Preferably with knowledge in simple programming languages (Training provided)

**Job Requirement(s)**:
(a) To report to the Operation/Project Manager.

(b) To innovate process control knowledge in Chemical process plant project which enable timely process parameter reporting.

(c) To design and propose most cost-effective process control and strategies pertaining to customers’ required operation.

(d) To prepare equipment costing, mapping and logics of control loops for each required operations set by customers.

(e) To use National Instruments software such as LabView, Lookout etc. to program very simple soft codes necessary for a user-friendly HMI (Human Machine Interface) for routine daily operation required by end-user.

(f) To modify or develop new process control software for project(s).

(g) To provide training to customer(s) appointed end-user(s) of the system fabricated by Newton & Stokes;
(h) To safe keep the licensed copy of National Instruments Labview software, ensuring it is not duplicated by others and/or personal usage.

(i) To prepare plant maintenance reports and repair statements;
(j) To prepare project forecasting and risk assessment analysis;
(k) To liaise with managerial staff, colleagues and clients;
(l) To order and purchase, on company's behalf, computer system (PC/notebook), control modules controllers and other communication hardware required for use together with National Instrument LabView software.

(m) To perform process control and fine tuning of key variables as required by the customer.

(j) To prepare handover documents, user manuals, and installation software (CDs).

(k) To conduct software familiarization training for each project to end users.

(l) To prepare risk assessment, work method statements etc. documentations required to satisfy Institutional/Schools requirements.

(m) To conduct training and commissioning session at customer's site prior to each project handover.

(n) To be in charge of process unit and/or software modifications according to customer's requirements.

(o) To participate in all technical meetings and discussions pertaining to the proposal as well as the design of new chemical plants for potential customers.

(p) To willingly accept overseas tasks assigned to you in order for the success and completion of company’s projects.
