**The Job**

Mighty Jaxx is seeking a Fullstack Web3 engineer with a can-do attitude, hands-on approach and a focus on exceeding expectations to develop and expand our Web3 technology and platforms.

This role is responsible for developing our in-house Web3 IP and projects along with general web development. This individual will work closely with the rest of the Mighty Meta engineering team to create products that impacts brands and their customers at scale, crafting a strategy that places Mighty Meta at the forefront of the Web3 Revolution.

As Mighty Jaxx continues to evolve its strategy roadmap to encompass a broader Web3 mandate, you will have the opportunity to work with the engineering team around our foundational platform product that enables brands to provide elevated experiences for their fans.

As our Web3 engineer for Mighty Meta, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong relationship with our stakeholders. With a good grasp of Web3 technology, you will help our Mighty Meta engineering team to create best-in-class projects for the Web3 space which includes AR, NFT, Crypto among others.

**Responsibilities**
- Deliver features and fixes within the sprints according to the needs of the product line within deadlines
- Work with Product Managers and Designers to build features with performance, reliability, and security in mind
- Maintain code quality through intentional architecture, documentation, and code review
- Contribute actively to technical and product discussions
- Architect and build efficient and scalable backend systems using Node and Express
- Write high-quality code that communicates with upstream backend services via HTTP APIs
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
- Participate in code reviews
- Utilize design, coding patterns, tools and frameworks, and methods to meet the team sprint objectives and the overall quarterly team objectives
- Design and implement RESTful APIs

**Requirements**:

- No BSc Degree in Computer Science or related field is required as we realize that you do not necessarily need a Comp Sci degree to be a good developer. Too many companies use educational qualifications as a proxy for skillsets and it still ends up being a crapshoot most of the time. We are not that company.
- At least 3 years of working experience in web development
- At least 1 year of experience with smart contract development (Can be a hobby project, side hustle, or production project)
- Experience with React/NextJS, or any frontend frameworks such as Vue.Js, Angular (Not AngularJS), Svelte, etc
- Experience with any backend language such as Python, Ruby, PHP, etc. Primarily, we are into Typescript. But for an experienced developer, learning new languages is not difficult as long as the programming paradigm is the same
- Knowledge of Web 3 concepts
- Comfortable with NoSQL (MongoDB) databases and Github
- Proven architecture expertise at a multi-system level, writing scalable, efficient, and clean code
- Good understanding of the whole web stack, web protocols, and web performance optimization techniques
- Enjoy working in an Agile development environment and take the initiative to improve systems
- Able to communicate well and grasp complex concepts
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

**Nice-to-haves (Not mandatory)**
- Experience with AWS
- Some DevOps knowledge on any cloud platform
- Knowledge of Shopify web development and liquid templates
- Know which of these are Pokemon and which are not. Webpack, Diglett, Paras, Bun, Deno, Gloom, Rust, Jest, Ditto, Lodash, and Kadabra

**Salary**: $5,000.00 - $6,500.00 per month
