PURPOSE

Act as the Head of HNW Product Development to oversee the management of all HNW product life-cycle across relevant FWD entities in Singapore.

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES- Actively drive the HNW life product strategy and roadmap in order to deliver the approved Business Plan for the line of business- Develop strong culture of product innovation through regular workshops with partners, internal stakeholders and re-insurers- Drive product development project and timeline management- Ensure that the product design and requirements comply with the MAS, Life Insurance Association, and the FWD requirements- Ensure product risks are promptly highlighted and addressed- Lead team to collaborate with the wider product implementation workgroup to ensure products are successfully launched as per agreed roadmap- Work with the Actuarial functions to drive conversations with the reinsurers and negotiate terms and conditions for new products’ reinsurance strategy- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that the key product USPs are well articulated in the brochure or any other marketing efforts- Drive team to produce good quality market research and comparison to ensure that our products remain competitive- Drive product related campaign / marketing initiatives in collaboration with the distribution teams- Develop HNW product development talents within the team

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE- Degree-holder with at least 10 years of experiences in life insurance companies- At least 3 years’ experience in HNW product development and management (preferably in Singapore)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY- Strong business acumen and communication skill, with proven ability to influence and work with business functions- Strong HNW product development background and good knowledge of the HNW product landscape in Singapore (including but not limited to Par products, Universal Life, IUL and VUL/PPLI)- Strong team management with at least 5 years of supervisory experience- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels including senior stakeholders and external stakeholders- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
