**What the role is**
- The jobholder will be part of the Cloud Engineering Team. The team is charged with a mission to transform the way HTX delivers software by leveraging on cloud innovation to enable agile software development, zero-trust security, continuous devsecops and artificial intelligence.
We are looking for Lead Cloud Engineer, Governance who is responsible for ensuring that an organization's cloud-based systems comply with industry standards and regulations, as well as the organization's own policies and procedures. They work to ensure that the organization's cloud infrastructure is secure, compliant, and cost-effective.

**What you will be working on**
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for cloud governance, including security, compliance, and cost management.
- Work with various teams across the organization to ensure that cloud infrastructure is being used in compliance with governance policies.
- Develop automation for monitoring, testing, policies and compliance of Cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins and Git.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the organization's cloud infrastructure.
- Implement and manage Azure Sentinel as a security information and event management (SIEM) and security orchestration automated response (SOAR) solution.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure features and services and recommend new solutions to improve the organization's infrastructure and security.

**What we are looking for**
- Strong understanding of cloud governance principles and best practices
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to cloud governance
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Knowledge of Cloud security best practices and the ability to implement them
- Experience with scripting languages such as SQL, Linux Shell Scripting or Python
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Blue Team, MITRE ATT&CK and incident response
- Experience with Agile sotware development lifecycle
- Experience with Azure Sentinel for security information and event management (SIEM)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

All new appointees will be appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance.
