
Media Sales Executive

**Overall Job Objectives**
As a Media Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth for the company through the sale of media advertising and marketing solutions. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their advertising needs, and providing effective advertising solutions to meet their objectives. This position requires strong sales skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive media environment.
**Core Responsibilities**
- Identify and prospect new clients in the assigned market or industry segment to generate sales leads.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, understanding their business needs and objectives.
- Conduct in-depth client consultations to understand their advertising requirements and develop customized media solutions.
- Present and pitch advertising proposals and campaigns to clients, effectively showcasing the value and benefits of the company's media offerings.
- Negotiate advertising rates and contracts with clients to maximize revenue and ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, production, and marketing, to develop and deliver high-quality advertising campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals on a consistent basis.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and other sales-related documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service and post-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and long-term relationships.
**Job Specifications**
- Diploma / bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in media sales, advertising sales, or a similar sales role.
- Strong understanding of the media industry, including digital media, print, broadcast, and social media platforms. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to overcome objections and secure deals.
- Results-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, demonstrating professionalism and exceptional customer service.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate reports.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
