The Bar Supervisor is responsible for overseeing floor operations in Basilico Italian bar, ensuring guests receive exceptional service in line with our standards. This role requires expertise in Italian spirits, general beverage knowledge, and coffee barista skills.

**What will I be doing?**

As the Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following tasks to maintain high standards:

- Deliver outstanding customer service, keeping guest satisfaction at the core of every action.
- Actively promote the bar's offerings and Italian spirits/cocktails to guests, creating a unique and memorable experience.
- Perform all duties with a focus on safety and cleanliness, ensuring both personal and team safety in the workplace.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of Italian spirits, vermouths, amaro’s, classic cocktails, wines, and beverages, and confidently explain menu items to guests.
- Demonstrate barista skills by preparing a variety of Italian-style drinks with precision and consistency.
- Provide recommendations based on guests’ preferences, dietary restrictions, and taste profiles.
- Complete daily checklists for preparing the bar and floor for service, ensuring everything is ready and up to standard.
- Welcome guests warmly, assisting with bags, coats, or any special requests, and ensuring they feel at home.
- Immediately follow up on guest inquiries and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Take personal responsibility for the guest experience, ensuring each guest has a positive and memorable visit.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar and floor area, adhering to operating and hygiene standards.
- Assist team members with service, keeping a strong team focus and fostering a cooperative atmosphere.
- Display professionalism and a friendly attitude, using polite language and maintaining a positive demeanor.Report any accidents, incidents, or issues to management promptly.

**What are we looking for?**

A Bar Supervisor should bring a proactive attitude and the following qualifications:

- Education in Hospitality, F&B, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in English, with Italian language skills a plus.
- Knowledge of Italian spirits, wines, and general bar service.
- Coffee barista skills, with an understanding of Italian coffee culture.
- Enthusiastic and motivated, showing commitment to guest satisfaction and continuous learning.
- Adaptability, responding quickly to the needs of the bar and guests.
- A team player, showing support and cooperation with colleagues to achieve goals.
- Ability to remember and promote menu items confidently.
- Positive attitude and open-minded personality.Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
