**Job Description**:
As a shift MDE Process Engineer at Micron, you will be responsible for working with process and sustaining group engineering to maintain, optimize, and refine hardware to support and improve existing processes and equipment. In this position, you will provide Diffusion and/or Implant equipment support of sustaining and improvement efforts, and identify problems and provide solutions for equipment development and maturity on your assigned tools.

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, including: fundamentals of electricity, and basic electronic components and circuits
- A strong conceptual understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, mass transport, chemistry, and physics
- The ability to use schematic diagrams to troubleshoot systems to components level
- Basic PC skills including MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Solid time management and prioritization skills
- Proven ability in multi-tasking complex projects and enjoy working in a fast pace team environment
- Basic data extraction, analysis and reporting skills
- Ability to work effectively with mínimal supervision
- The ability to be flexible with job responsibilities and take the initiative to assume added responsibilities and solve different types of problems
- Teamwork skills with a strong focus on effective team dynamics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be flexible to work any shift and rotate shifts as needed
- Prior Diffusion and/or Implant experience is helpful but not required
- Familiarity with data science, SQL, Python, or other computer programing is preferred but not required
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or equivalent semiconductor industry experience is preferred; however, other engineering or related disciplines may be considered
