**About the job**:

- Red Hat's Sales Operations team is looking for a Business Operations Partner to support our Asia Pacific (APAC) Telco, Media, and Entertainment (TME) Sales team in Singapore. In this role, you will be a trusted advisor for Sales by helping them manage regular business activities and solving business problems. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and other teams in support of various strategic activities around the TME business, including planning and pipeline management. You will also work with business partners in other regions to help gather globally consistent information and analysis around TME performance and KPIs to report to key stakeholders.**What you will do**:

- Act as a trusted advisor to regional TME Sales Leadership by providing advice based on data analysis, best practice-sharing, and experience
- Provide support as needed across various cross-functional business activities, like planning, quota setting, account segmentation, pipeline management, and process improvements
- Conduct sales analysis and provide direction and insight to support the APAC TME Sales Management team
- Understand what decisions need to be taken by the regional Sales Leadership in order to define requirements and identify ways to support data-driven decision making
- Work closely with stakeholders to turn business problems into analytical projects
- Work under tight deadlines and for extended hours during quarter and year-end periods as needed
- Oversee escalation management of bookings, queue cases, or any other instances

**What you will bring**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or achievement at a recognized professional level; master’s degree is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in corporate sales operations and enablement in a matrixed software organization
- Proven record of success in a fast moving, technical environment including a proven ability to learn new concepts quickly
- Proactive, motivated, with a solid work ethic
- Success in working in an influence-driven cross-functional environment
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects at once while working in a highly complex environment
- Experience utilizing business tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and Tableau to inform business insights
- Experience collaborating with sales teams to gather critical information and deliver data-driven analyses and recommendations
- Communications and interpersonal skills for working with people at all levels of the organization
- Solid business acumen and business planning skills
- 5+ years of software sales or sales operations experience, including an understanding of sales cycles and deal processes, is a big plus
