As a UI/UX Designer, you will be primarily responsible for designing and turning our software into easy-to-use products for our users. You will be working together with designers, product managers, engineers as well as stakeholders across functions to understand user needs and in turn help to grow our customer base.

We are looking for someone who is excited and passionate about building and designing products that last.

**Your responsibilities will include the following**:

- Work closely with Product Team, engineers, to brainstorm and create new products and/or improve on existing customer experiences;
- Work closely with Product Managers to ensure all design work meets user needs and business requirements;
- Drive end-to-end design processes from concept to launch;
- Participate in the discovery and ideation process, make low fidelity wireframes and user flows as well as high-fidelity mockups, incorporate feedback and deliver final visual designs to engineers in a timely way;
- Participate in customer research and be familiar with both qualitative and quantitative methods;
- Write surveys and interview guides, and recruit a relevant sample of participants;
- Design responsive interfaces for web and mobile devices, as well as Android and iOS; and
- Any other duties as assigned.

This role will report to the Head of Product.

**You should have met the following criteria: -**
- At least 5 years relevant experience designing interactive consumer-facing products;[HT1]
- Portfolio that shows a range of UI/UX work experience;
- Proficient in UI/UX Design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator and Photoshop;
- Knowledge of wireframe tools;
- Understand scrum/agile methodologies and lean startup principles;
- Strong understanding of current UI design trends to create an efficient and seamless user experience;
- Demonstrating high-quality design practices including all aspect of UI and UX: research, ideation and interaction and visual design;
- Have excellent interpersonal and communications skills because you understand that the product is only as good as the collaboration between the design, product, and engineering teams;
- Enjoy sharing knowledge and exchanging design feedback with others. You also display empathy, understand users, develop solutions to solve their problems and listen effectively. Yet, you can work autonomously, be self-driven and have great attention to details;
- Be comfortable with ambiguity, and have worked on either new products or ground-up redesigns of existing products; and
- Have strong execution skills with experience in user flows, wireframes, and complex interactive prototypes at various levels of fidelity.

Nice to have but not a must:

- Experience in financial services or fintech industry; and
- Experience in working with freelancers.

- A good team player, organised, detail-oriented, proactive, independent and self-motivated;
- Be efficient and well-organised;
- Able to work under pressure; and
- Have good presentation skills;

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $4,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
