**Job Info**:

- Salary: Basic up to $3600 + VB (3 Months)
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5:30am)
- Location: Newton
- Business financing solutions company

**Job Scope**:

- Making collection calls to customers
- Ensuring timely and effective collection of all outstanding debts and customer payments
- Negotiating re-payment plans with customers
- Coordinating with legal counsel to follow up on legal actions against delinquent payers
- Working with vehicle repossession agents to track repossessed vehicles
- Maintaining regular contact with clients to clear outstanding balances
- Resolving internal and external queries related to customers’ outstanding balances
- Posting and allocating daily receipts into the accounting system
- Performing other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required

**Requirements**:

- Experience in going through the whole cycle of legal process of debt collection
- Ability to advise on what legal action is best at different stages of debt collection
- Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
- Ability to reconcile complex accounts and have excellent attention to detail
- Calm, confident manner to handle potentially uncomfortable conversations
- Min least 2 years relevant experience
