**(Senior) Manager Customs & Trade Compliance APAC**

Our Client is a leading global sports brand that designs, develops, and sells athletic and lifestyle footwear, apparel, and accessories. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced (Senior) Manager Customs & Trade Compliance to join our dynamic team in the APAC region. As an industry leader, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products while ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations.

- **Remuneration**: upto120K SGD Annual
- **Location**: Dhoby Ghaut MRT Central

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure client's compliance with current customs and trade regulations in the region.
- Assist with classification activities based on national regulations, interpretations of the World Customs Organization (WCO), and in alignment with the Global Customs & Trade Compliance team.
- Conduct training programs on customs and trade compliance laws, regulations, and policies for company associates and new hires in the APAC region.
- Establish customs and Free Trade Agreement (FTA) requirements for countries within the region, considering the locations of our client's sourcing factories.
- Deliver training programs for our client’s employees and factories within the region on FTAs, Certificates of Origin, Rules of Origin, and required forms/templates.
- Support the Global Customs & Trade Compliance team in duty optimization, classification, customs valuation, and other related topics, with a focus on the APAC region and global perspective.
- Support the implementation of global and/or local/regional projects/processes, demonstrating enthusiasm and strong teamwork.
- Represent our client towards APAC Industry Federations, as required and in alignment with the Global Head of Customs & Trade Compliance.
- Provide support to countries in the region during customs audits and assessments, including representing the company in front of customs authorities if necessary.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in the Customs & Trade compliance field.
- Proficiency in HS (tariff) classification, customs valuation, country of origin determination, import/customs regulations, Free Trade Agreements, Rules of Origin, import duties and taxes, and international regulations.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills, with the ability to convey trade compliance concepts to individuals at all levels, including top management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Capability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently to achieve customs and trade compliance objectives while collaborating effectively with stakeholders across the business and region, including the management team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional-level proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
- Apparel and footwear industry experience is a plus.
