- Establish an independent, world-class research program,
- Enhance the School’s visibility as an international leader in education and research
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses
- Actively collaborate with NTU faculty and researchers

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct original high-quality research in Heterogeneous catalysis
- Publish high quality papers at reputable peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
- Give invited talks at international conferences, securing competitive research grants, and supervising research personnel.
- Contribute to teaching and course development at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate students undertaking research projects.
- Undertake administrative and/or leadership roles.
- Contribute to other service-related activities assigned by School and University.

**Requirements**:

- PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or a related discipline, with post-doctoral research experiences.
- Strong record of research and relevant publications in reputable peer-reviewed international journals
- Demonstrated the ability to obtain extramural funding
- A good track record of supervising research staff, postdocs, students, and interns in relevant fields
- Experienced in cross-disciplinary research initiatives and collaboration
