Our client is a Consumer Products MNC with global footprints and a trusted brand in the market. They are currently seeking for General Ledger cum Management Reporting Accountant to join and assist the team in daily operations and closing of accounts.

**Some of the key responsibilities will include**:

- Responsible for a wide spectrum of month-end and year-end closing activities including reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting, management report and financial statements
- Preparation of monthly accounting schedules for key balance sheet items
- Consolidation of subsidiaries’ financial record on monthly and quarterly basis
- Co-ordination of audit activities, working closely with external auditors and tax consultants.
- Meeting the applicable accounting standards (IFRS, SFRS), tax and other regulations
- Identification of areas of risk and suggest improvement to internal controls
- Ad-hoc report preparation for internal/external stakeholders and liaising with other departments for ad-hoc requests as required.

**To be eligible for this role you will require**:

- Accounting degree with 4-6 years of relevant experience, commercial experience is a plus
- CPA/CA/ACCA qualification or equivalent
- Experience in GL and (statutory or management) consolidation preferred
