The key purpose of the role is to provide world-class career services to NBS’s graduate students, and manage employer relationships in key sectors, and source for suitable positions for NBS’s graduate students.

The position holder is responsible for providing career services to Professional MBA and Nanyang Fellows MBA programmes and ensure students are successful in their post-MBA leadership journey.

Additionally, the position holder is also responsible for managing employer relations with key players in several key sectors (energy, commodities, industrials and sustainability), to source for suitable jobs and internship roles for all graduate students interested in these sectors.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Career office strategy and implementation:
- Lead, develop and launch a suite of career offerings for 2 programmes: NF MBA and PMBA;- Be the key thought partner and coach to students in these 2 programmes;- Develop and deliver Careers Workshops for students in the programmes.

2. Lead & launch careers offerings:
- Engage with leadership to identify, drive and launch strategic initiatives to keep career services at the forefront of providing optimal and efficient services;- Operationalise any new strategic initiatives for the career office;- Engage with the careers team in providing multi-faceted career workshops, networking events, company presentations, etc.

3. Drive business development and employer engagement to secure full-time jobs and internship opportunities for all graduate students in 5 sectors/functions (energy,

commodities, industrials, real estate, and sustainability):
- Develop a strategy to engage employers within these sectors to increase placement rates of students into these sectors;- Broaden and deepen relationships in these sectors;- Actively identify opportunities to develop multi-dimensional relationships;- Establish and manage key employer relationships in these sectors by building partnerships with senior corporate leaders (vCEO, CHRO, Head of Talent Development);- Maintain a deep understanding of market factors (national & global) relative to employer organisations;- Initiate and build strong partnerships with companies that can provide full-time jobs and internships/industry project opportunities for students.

4. Provide sector counselling to GS students:
- Understand student’s full-time jobs and internship goals and provide guidance in their job search;- Coach and counsel students interested in the relevant sectors to ensure readiness for career-related interactions with employers;- Place students in their desired roles in energy, commodities, industrials and sustainability sectors.

**Requirements**:
- Degree from a top-tier global business school is required.- At least 10 years’ experience, primarily in a leadership role, with significant front-line and sales/business development experience.- Proven track record of business development in past working experiences including successfully building internal and external collaborations.- International and global experience required.- Experience in the energy, commodities, industrials and/or sustainability sectors is a distinct advantage.- Experience in career services and/or working with post-graduate students within an Institute of Higher Learning, preferably within a business school, is advantageous.- Strong and deep networks with companies in the energy, commodities, industrials, real estate and/or sustainability sectors.- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability in working with people from diverse and multi-cultural backgrounds.- Outstanding presentation skills, including ability to deliver high impact presentations to senior executives.- Meticulousness with good eye for details, and be able to work under tight deadlines.- Team-player with a pleasant disposition and outgoing personality.
