Product Partnership Manager, Commerce, Youtube

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience in partner management, business development, sales, consulting, or other related field

Preferred qualifications:

- MBA or equivalent practical experience, such as management consulting
- Experience working with large, complex partners in the e-commerce industry in India or Indonesia
- Experience working with Product and Engineering organizations for early stage product development/go-to-market
- Experience interpreting legal documents, discussing agreements, and working with legal team members to draft and execute agreements
- Ability to be an effective cross-functional leader, managing multiple C-level stakeholders within matrixed organizations
- Passion for and understanding of YouTube products with the ability to quickly learn new technologies

YouTube’s Product Partnerships team accelerates the global growth and innovation of YouTube products by driving new business opportunities through partnerships. We own the business side of new features, products and initiatives that are vital to the success of YouTube. **Responsibilities**:

- Define YouTube’s partnerships strategy for commerce-related initiatives in the assigned countries in Asia Pacific (APAC); evaluate opportunities and drive ideas to execution.
- Serve as the country expert for the merchant partnerships program and work with regional/global leads to execute on strategy. Manage objectives and deliverables for driving partnerships and evaluating return on investment (ROI).
- Contribute to YouTube Product Partnership initiatives in APAC markets (e.g., develop/manage strategic partnerships, cross-functional alignment with stakeholders).
- Lead internal cross-functional engagement in the assigned markets to secure agreements for partnerships and programs, including problem-solving for legal, policy, business, operational, and technical complexities, and collaborating with other business teams.
- Be a domain expert and thought leader for commerce areas; understand market dynamics and competitive landscapes.
