Head of Product Management Technology

Citi Global Wealth (CGW) is a newly created business integrating Citi Private Bank and the Consumer organizations into a single platform enabling Citi to serve its clients across the wealth spectrum and capitalize on Citi’s industry leading capabilities. As we embark on this journey of being the leading wealth management provider in Asia, it is important to have a best-in-class Technology Platform. The Head of Product Management Technology will play a pivotal role by acting as the Single Point of contact for all Technology requirements from business for Citi Global Wealth Asia

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for end-to-end business intake
- Work closely with CGW leadership team to define and deliver the technology product roadmaps aligning to strategic business priorities.
- Work with business and technology teams to ensure all technology projects are launched to customers, fully adopted, remove the pain points and move the last mile
- Work with businesses on the impact of the project decisions on the technology spend & understand all operational aspects of the CGW technology unit to create Asia technology strategy on operating model
- Drive the design and architecture to provide long term solutions suitable to all segments without any compromise to the customer experience and Controls.
- Lead the technology product assessments, build Vs. Buy decisions, Vendor evaluation. Contract and commercial finalization
- Manage end to end technology responsibility ensuring every aspect of CGW APAC business is covered including discretionary, build the bank and run the bank covering global and regional initiatives
- Work closely with CGW APAC technology teams to oversee all stages of product creation including design and development.
- Align to the objectives and processes defined by global for demand management and other technology operating process initiatives like Agile management, common tools and processes
- Provide Oversight, Delivery Governance on all the CGW APAC initiatives
- Responsible for managing delivery from Global and ASIA CGW Technology
- Represent Asia technology in various Leadership forums and Steer Co’s
- Ensure timely delivery of committed initiatives to materialize the business benefits
- This role will be one of the key stakeholders in evaluating new technology products and platforms to suit the business needs and regional specific customization
- Represent CGW Asia in all global forums and share the best practices

**Requirements**:

- 15+ years of relevant working experience with a strong technical background
- 10+ year’s relevant experience in Wealth Management and/or Technology Strategy
- 10+ years’ experience managing large or multiple high performing business or technology development teams with demonstrable and measurable results.
- Possess complete understanding of all the aspects of all the technology operating model, processes, the business alignment, different business products and processes
- Relevant Qualification or experience to understand the different aspects of financial management like capitalization, cash spend and amortization
- Demonstrated ability to take directions and work independently or as part of a team while performing work in a sometimes fast-paced, demanding environment
- Proven ability to influence decision-making at all levels within an organization and influence non-directs through data and a vision in a variety of contexts
- Strong interpersonal, communication & analytical skills to engage, negotiate & prioritize the actions during the complex & multi-faced situations to pursue the best outcome for Global Wealth Management
- Ability to lead and direct a team of knowledge professionals.
- Ability to size and prioritize large-scale initiatives across businesses.
- Ability to work effectively with senior and middle level managers and with large interdisciplinary teams.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Master’s degree
