**About the role**

Reporting to the Global Travel Regional Manager '“ SEA & SA, the Sales Manager will be responsible for delivering targets through the development and execution of customer strategy across Global Travel including airports, airlines, airlines lounges & cruise ships.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for delivering the commercial growth agenda with high profile GT retailers in SEA & SA region through the development and best in class execution of channel specific sales and marketing strategies (with an emphasis on distribution and depletion growth) focused on the priority channels of Global Travel, in these markets. The Sales Manager role will be responsible for delivering robust growth within over the next three years through strategy development and flawless execution through wine category leadership of both customers and distributor partners across priority channels.

**Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities**:

- Achieve set sales targets (volume, revenue and profit results) in line with business and portfolio priorities and grow all our priority brands in markets/channels and embed our regional strategy in the markets/channels
- The development and execution of sales and marketing plan focused on business priorities and insights and category drivers for Global Travel
- Influence and win the heart and soul of our retailers by being present in market, by inspiring them about our brands, by providing support and by improving capability
- Track relevant KPIs monthly to ensure that the retailer and BAs in respective market is hitting the right targets in terms of depletion, distribution (across all channels) and execution of activities
- To manage daily operations with key customers to meet business goals
- Manage and provide coaching to develop airport based brand ambassadors (sales team) through effective engagement and communication of priorities to drive execution and the delivery of results
- To perform market research to study consumer behaviour, latest trends & competitor activity
- Ensure timely communications and liaison with logistics team for optimum supply chain effectiveness
- To organise and execute training programmes for shop floor staff
- To work with distributor for supply to ship-chandler & airport lounges
- To perform pricing check in domestic retailers/ airports and update on monthly template from retailer

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Degree or diploma in Business, Economics or similar discipline
- 2-3 years' experience in key accounts and distributor management in Global Travel industry within South East Asia
- WSET or similar wine education desired
- Numerate with strong financial skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent evaluative, analytical and interpretive skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong planning, organisational skills & networking capability
- Retail sales experience, customer and portfolio management
- Ability to build consensus and co-ordinate across functional teams
- Ability to constantly drive profitability
- Hands-on, high energy individual
