- Our client, a leading financial services firm is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join their Financial Crime Compliance team in ensuring that applicable Global Standards and Singapore's laws and regulatory requirements relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Anti-Fraud, and Anti-Tax Evasion Facilitation are duly and effectively implemented in their business.**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review and approve high-risk customers from an FCC perspective.
- Review alerts generated from customer and transaction screening systems.
- Provide guidance on FCC related policies and procedures.
- Provide training on local addendum and relevant change of local FCC requirements.
- Perform compliance review on FCC related tasks (e.g., KYC, EDD, KYE, etc.).
- Liaise with Client Verification Team (CVT) and Front Office (FO) on the account opening process.
- Assist with FCC related projects and enhancements.
- Analyze transaction monitoring alerts and investigate transactional activities to detect any suspicions of money laundering or terrorist financing activity.
- Assist in investigations on suspicious transactions.
- Present facts from investigations relating to Suspicious Transaction Report (STRs) to Senior Management and Compliance.
- Coordinate searches and enquiries; gather data and information from business and compliance departments.
- Assist to monitor and document activities on high-risk accounts and Enhanced Due Diligence.
- Remediation of any findings issued by regulators or auditors as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Legal, Accountancy, or Business related discipline.
- At least 3-4 years of FCC related working experience in Singapore.
- Good exposure to AML/CFT and Sanctions compliance laws and regulations in Singapore.
- Good experience working with system alerts generated on customer and transaction monitoring and screening systems.
- Strong project management and influencing skills.
- Fluent verbal and written English required.
