**THE ROLE**:
Development of Advanced Graphics (GFX)/ Compute Core IP Diagnostics

**WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN**:

- Overview of AMD GPU Architecture design & technology.
- Gain hands-on experience in development & debug of Diagnostics test codes for GPU test & validation.
- Learn the know-how and gain insights into programming test codes to test GFX IP blocks in GPU at system level of a complex and advanced semiconductor IC product.

**PROJECT OVERVIEW**:
Development of Diagnostics test codes for test and validation of Graphics IP blocks in AMD’s Advanced Graphics Processor Unit (GPU) for production system level test, system product validation as well as for customer production test in the lead up to the success of AMD GPU product launch into market. The Diagnostics test codes developed are used in virtually all aspects of the product lifecycle, from pre-silicon validation through the production life of the product to launching to customer’s platforms.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Design and develop tests for AI/HPC related features to validate GPU hardware design in pre/post silicon stage.
- Develop and optimise internal Deep Learning framework and math libraries.
- Diagnose hardware issue using GDB and register level debug tool.
- Participate in new GPU ASIC Bring-up and execution, responsible for SLT (system level test) and ASIC qualification suites.

A self-motivated individual who is willing to learn, independent and resourceful.

**RELEVANT SKILLSETS**:

- Good in C/C++ Programming Language.
- Comfortable with Linux environment.
- Some knowledge about GPU programming (OpenCL/CUDA/HIP).
- Some knowledge about GPU architecture.
- Some knowledge about Parallel Programming.
- Some knowledge about Machine Learning / Deep Learning.
- Some knowledge about Assembly Language.

**ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS**:

- Background in Computer Engineering/Science or Electrical and Electronics Engineering
