**Responsibilities**:
The Engagement Manager reports to the Managing Director. With a strong entrepreneurial mindset, the Senior Engagement Manager ensures the success of client engagements and assists with business development activities for the company, driving sales activities and the acquisition of new business.

A key focus of this role is to build and maintain excellent client relations. The Engagement Manager will have a portfolio of clients and is accountable for the revenue, profitability and success of those customer relationships, in addition to building new clients by nurturing existing leads or cultivating new leads.

**Job Duties**

**A) **HR Support for Retained Clients**
- Partner business units on HR policies, practices and initiatives.
- Provide HR advisory and support to clients. Provide assistance with the full performance management and benefits administration.
- Manage the offer negotiation process; onboarding and orientation. Check payroll report such as increment, CPF, statutory leave claims, NS claims, deduction and all other information related to payroll. The payroll report is prepared by the payroll management team.

**B) **Business Development Opportunities**
- Help head up Decode HR’s expansion in new markets as well as continued expansion among existing clients.
- Build relationships with existing clients in an attempt to understand their needs to introduce solutions.
- Create, negotiate and close commercial agreements.

From time to time, you may be required to provide consultancy for certain projects, particularly where you possess the relevant expertise and skillset.

**Core Requirements**
- Strong HR business partnership experience, with minimum 10 years of in-house HR experience in both operational and strategic aspects of HR
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate market behavior to business opportunities
- Commercially savvy with strong analytical skills
- Excellent communicator with strong relationship management skills
- Highly organized with impeccable time management skills and adept in projects management and completion
- Follow-up on marketing-generated leads in order to qualify them in an efficient manner and ensure high translation of lead to revenue
- Value selling: Nurture leads by assessing the opportunity, communicating the value propositions for the customer, and following up in a timely manner
