Lead and oversee the School of Computing’s (SoC) strategic engagement initiatives with schools, including relationship-building with local and international institutions
Plan and execute high-impact events such as NUS Open House, Info Sessions, Computing Day, school visits, outreach workshops, and youth engagement programmes.
Develop and manage partnerships with secondary schools, junior colleges, polytechnics, and other education stakeholders to increase the SoC’s outreach and influence.
Provide leadership in the design and execution of hands-on learning engagements that showcase the SoC’s offerings to prospective students.
Collaborate with faculty members, student volunteers, and external vendors to ensure successful event execution.
Design and implement evaluation metrics to measure the effectiveness and reach of engagement initiatives.
Manage event budgets, timelines, logistics, and communications across teams and partners.
Oversee development and production of engagement materials, kits, publicity items, and digital content.
Serve as the SoC’s representative at key engagements, education fairs, and community events.
Support the Communications team in broader strategic planning, campaign development, and cross-functional outreach efforts.
Handle other ad hoc projects as assigned by the Senior Associate Director, Communications.

Qualifications
A recognised degree in Communications, Events Management, Education, or a related field
At least 5 years of relevant experience in stakeholder engagement, outreach, or event leadership, preferably in education or public sector
Proven track record in managing large-scale events and educational programmes
Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
Highly organised and able to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines
Willingness to work evenings or weekends during key events and outreach periods
Experience working with schools, educators, and students is highly desirable
Experience in photography or video production is a plus
Proficient in tools such as Microsoft Office, Canva, Google Docs, is a plus.
