**Roles & Responsibilities**

The Trade Analyst & Paper Trader will work closely with the Trading Operations Department, Finance Department teams in across Sinopec Fuel Oil Group - where applicable - and will be held responsible for:

- Accountable for the Analysis Report and Trading Paper Book Profit and Loss
- Understand basic philosophy of swap/future/physical implication/future price trends and create a typical trading strategy
- All trading book open position must be updated and marked to market daily
- Through daily analysis and risk management report to give assurance to Traders & Top Management that market risks have been properly identified and measured.
- Ensure that trade confirmation are obtained for all transaction without exception
- Update timely and accurate record of all trade transaction data into the ERP/SAP systems
- Verifying & signatory of all paper/swap/visocity/hedging brokers’ invoices to finance/suppliers/customers
- Pro-active management and enhance commercial optimisation of trading activities through value-adding / cost reducing initiatives
- Manage and achieve trading business goals through systematic planning and effective management of available resources
- Work cooperatively and foster positive interaction with non-trading and support functions (Trading

Operations, Financial Operations and Credit teams)
- Manage supply and demand, considering logístical constraints as well as sales estimates
- All trading activities are conducted in compliance with relevant trading standards
- Increase your effectiveness in copying with extraordinary demands
- Deal effectively with obstacles and problems
- Interface with the regional offices on trading decisions & resolution of issues
- Build and maintain productive working relationships with all significant external partners and counter parties
- Support local or group initiatives, as required, that enhance value (i.e. ERP, SAP systems projects)
- Plan to extract maximum value by optimising on trading on contango or backwardation market in the region without compromise to Sinopec’s health, safety, and environmental standards
- Provide support and assistance coverage for teammate away from leave whenever applicable
- Time management and working in a professionally manner at all times
- Provide collective assessment, quick and innovative solutions to solve complex problems (think out-of-the box)
- Develop and maintain effective communication between & networks, both internally as well as in the industry
- Work smart and be a pro-active, assertive, innovative and team player within the organization
- Abide to company’s policy and ethical rights at all times
- Flexible to be assigned any other works/project whenever applicable
