Principal Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Platform and Cert)

As a Principal Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Platform and Cert) in our new Edge innovation group, you will
- Lead the platform certification team to work with product team to define the project scope and design the platform cert architecture and road map.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (Product Managers, Engineers, Architects, etc.), and external customers/vendors to formalize platform certification requirements.
- Plan and deploy platform certification environment in Lab or on cloud, managing and maintaining the environment meet qualification requirements.
- Play as the technical leader for the platform certification team, lead the execution and solve any technical issues during the whole cycle.
- Identify the phased approach to automate/improve the qualification work for Edge platform for customer scenarios and various hardware devices.
- Performs other platform certification duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Equivalent
- At least 10-12 years of experience in software system, software testing, platform certification or related experience.
- Extensive experience in testing large scale software.
- Ability to analyze requirements, develop a test strategy and test plan, execute certification test, and produce reports.
- Ability to plan, build and maintain geographically distributed test environments.
- Knowledge of virtualization, container, and cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of Linux operation system administration, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent troubleshooting skill, analytical skill, and critical thinking.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

Good to have:

- Certifications such as Certified Software Testing Professional or Certified Software Quality Analyst will be an added advantage.
- Experience in one or more Industrial standard certifications below is highly desired:

- MITRE ATT&CK®, CIS Compliance, NIST Compliance
- Experience in one or more Federal compliance certifications below is highly desired:

- DoDIN-APL, Common Criteria, FIPS-140, USGv6, VPAT
- Knowledge of Dell server, storage, networking, gateway product is a plus.
