Team Summary**
**What a Business Development Executive does at Visa**:
The Business Development Executive, Co-brand AP will be involved in driving and enhancing the Visa co-brand business across the entire Asia Pacific region from new business development to internal reporting. This will be achieved via truly innovative thinking by challenging the existing possibilities for our clients and Visa.
Business development activities include supporting deal strategy formation & approval activities, partaking in client pitches, as well as contract negotiations. In addition to this, the role will also be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely internal reporting of Co-brand success metrics by staying closely connected to the wider sales organization.

Through the work that you do in breathing life to Co-brand programs, you will be helping to ensure both Visa and our clients continue to stay relevant & preferred in the eyes of tomorrow’s digital consumer.
**Projects you will be a part of**:
- Co-lead Co-brand business development activities with merchants, issuers and consultants: prospecting, lead development, and active selling for profitable Co-brand opportunities
- Support the expansion of new partnerships through the cross selling of non-Co-brand Visa products and services to create a comprehensive, deep partnership with Visa merchants
- Collaborate with internal Visa partners, i.e., in market issuing teams, to identify opportunities and deliver coordinated business development efforts across Co-brand and complementary products and solutions.
- Support negotiations with Co-brand partners that reflect the strategic nature of Co-brand relationships
- Serve as a center-of-excellence within Visa Asia Pacific for cobrand-related issues/opportunities. Help craft and sell the partner narrative & the Visa differentiation story for cobranding.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both home and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office three days a week, Monday (Sunday in some countries where Sunday is the start of the week) and Wednesdays. Wednesdays are designated as in-office collaboration days. The third day in the office will be decided based on team needs and determined in partnership with senior leadership.
**Qualifications**:
What you will need:
- Payments industry expertise with a minimum of 3 years business experience with related sales/product management experience.
- Clear understanding of Co-brand business including implications for issuers, networks and merchants.
- Knowledge of payment economics, financial controls and legal impacts of contract management.
- Exposure to successful sales and relationship management with experience developing and managing a pipeline of initiatives and driving commercial results.
- Proven ability to develop and leverage external and cross-functional relationships.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with high level of success/achievement.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Fluent in English
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Excellent collaborator and natural team player with superb influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Consulting experience, consumer loyalty management and/or coalition loyalty experience desired.
- Experience in negotiating business agreements and ability to develop new business partnerships.
- Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics platform preferred
